Sam Cooper

Managing Director


After 6 years of working in the building trade as a labourer and then a painter, Sam started his own business in 2001, originally specialising in painting and decorating. Over the next few years he gradually developed it into the full building service that it is today and continues to manage the company and all contracts. Sam personally oversees all pricing work, with a full understanding of all areas in every project. He visits all sites on a regular basis keeping a perfectionist eye on programmes and, most importantly, quality control and the final level of finish.

Lawrence Smith

Senior Projects Manager & Director


Lawrence, originally an electrician by trade, joined Sam as a site foreman for Bonchurch in 2010. He was then promoted to the position of Site Manager, then Projects Manager and has recently become a director of the company. He helps Sam oversee all areas of the contracts, supporting the site managers in ensuring they stay on schedule, on budget and that works are carried out to the correct standards. He manages all sub contractors, team progress and efficiently handles any post completion maintenance as necessary.

Helen Stillman

Office Manager


Helen joined Bonchurch in 2013, and is based at her home office in Gloucestershire where she manages all order placements, company accounts, payments, invoicing and general administration assistance to the management team. Over the years, Helen has developed excellent relationships and contacts with all suppliers, sub-contractors and councils which proves very useful in times of need! Helen keeps the office running smoothly, comes to sites as necessary and is always at the end of the phone to field calls and pass messages on to relevant parties.

Allison Bird

Accounts


Allison started working part time for Bonchurch in April 2016, assisting Helen in the Head Office with the company accounts, payroll, administration and general organisation through the company.

Ben French

Projects Manager


Ben leads up our BPM team and, with a background in high-end hospitality, is perfectly positioned to handle all the care and needs our clients and properties require. Ben is extremely organised, he carries out all the initial property assessments with our specialists, produces and oversees the routine programmes and reports for the year, as well as be on call for our clients at any time to action the team as necessary.

Marcin Pastusiak

Site Manager


Marcin joined Sam’s team back in 2005 as a plasterer and, through very hard work and natural leadership skills, quickly became a highly respected and accomplished site manager. To date, he has steered well over 30 Bonchurch projects to successful completion.

Razvan Solea

Site Manager


Razvan has been with Bonchurch for over 10 years, starting out as a skilled labourer and then, through strong determination and proven efficiency, came up the ranks to become an extremely dilligent, reliable and organised site manager.

Vali Ciungulete

Site Manager


Vali, originally a site labourer and then carpenter, became a site manager 5 years ago and has not failed a project since starting. He is extremely calm under pressure and will work all hours needed to get his job done on time and to the top quality expected.
